Obiter Dicta, is a team of talented amateur actors that performed this particular play in 2015. In order to highlight the character and the "madness" that surrounds Υμπύ (Ubu Roi), we have decided to deliver a surreal caricature approach to the main elements of the poster. Additionally, the use of red color represents Poland since that Poland is the country that the story takes place. Ubu Roi is a play by Alfred Jarry. It was first performed in Paris at the Théâtre de l'Œuvre, causing a riotous response in the audience as it opened and closed on December 10, 1896.
